My mother, 65 years old, 10 years ago, because of lumbar disc disease, such as decompression laminectomy done, after one to three years , self-feeling was good, but in the fourth year, low back pain symptoms ,leg pain gradually relapse, especially in recent years, increasing pain, unable to walk or even to the situation. Earlier this year, done with the X-ray and MRI about waist, a result of L4 L5 changes after a laminectomy, lumbar 4 / 5 disc backwards; lumbar degenerative changes in lumbar . Image description; lumbar Cone marginal bone, T2 signal lower, lumbar 4 / 5 sacral a protruding disc backwards, lumbar laminectomy was 4-5 after change. Spinal stenosis and not the occupying lesions.

These are my mother 's results of inspections this year, we have seek medical treatment to a few big hospitals, the results are currently no effective solutions, only through medication, physical therapy, and other conservative approaches to alleviate his pain. What we can do?

I started a few months ago having difficulty standing up - a "shooting pain" until I angled around to find the right way to stand. After a couple of weeks I had constant pain in my buttock. 3 months later, sitting in a car hurts both hip and buttock, and it’s very hard trying to get out of a car a little less difficult for a chair. I can get standing easily, but it is taking about a minute to find a position not too painful to walk. When I begin walking - it doesn't hurt too much, what happen?anyone help?

I am a 37 year old with grade II spondylolisthesis. Up until 4 months ago I really havn't experienced much pain.someone telling me that a fusion is not as successful in alleviating back pain. it is primiarly effective at alleviating leg and butt pain. At the moment, I am only experiencing back pain. If this is true, what does someone do who has back pain?

After a car accident I have herniated disks at L4 and L5.
Normally, the pain runs from my lower back down my left leg, but if I stand for more than 30 minutes or bend over several times the pain runs down both my legs and each leg starts to feel like they have weights on them. I have tried Vax-D and injections, pain pills, anti-inflammatories, but I am still in a lot of pain. Is there a natural remedy or is surgery the only option I have left?

For most fo patient suffering from spine bifida,Cause of pain IS NOT due to spine bifida, not to say bifida occulta. So,My opinion is that you should go to see another reputable doctor for second opinion.(is it possible to soft tissue injury ?)
Another suggestion is you could try deep and intensive acupuncture, which is good solution for inflammation relief.
Good luck!
