Zak acupuncture for spondylolisthesis case
by Zak on Sat 15 Mar 2008 - 12:46

X, female, 49 years old, leg pain and low back pain for more than a year, began feeling right hip lancinating pain, but there left hip lancinating pain, not to stand straight, the last a bilateral hip pain along, posterior thigh, ectocnemial, intermittent twitch, every half an hour, the pain is just unbearable, patients can not bend over. The variety of treatment ineffective, according to hospital radiation suggest that the diagnosis: breaking spondylolisthesis of the spine. To the clinic for treatment.

Inspections: waist, the left spine scoliosis, back convex. Straight legs bending: hand from fingertip to 60 cm, straight legs Shenyao limited, straight-leg raising test, and 80 degrees left and right 70 degrees, the above inspection of low back pain caused heavier, but not down Bleeding, bilateral peroneal nerve compression test positive, the right weight, 5 lumbar spinal 3 to the deep parts are obvious tenderness, double the normal lower extremity muscle strength, x-Tip 4 lumbar vertebral spondylolisthesis time forward, I am diagnosed as: Bilateral spinal lumbar 3 -- 4 soft tissue damage associated with spinal damage to the soft tissue, with lumbar spondylolisthesis 4.

Under normal circumstances, the spinal soft tissue damage, zak acupuncture result is not ideal, but with the strong demand for their treatment, I, of course, the main thing is to the spinal canal, the treatment of soft tissue damage, after several courses of treatment, low back pain disappeared, the residue after the right iliac ridge on the edge of pain in the right buttock hanging tight flu, after zak acupuncture further treatment, the pain disappeared.

Discussion: Patients with pain, mainly from within and outside the spinal soft tissue damage, bone deformities caused pain not only causes. Therefore, even for spondylolisthesis may also consider non-surgical treatment, the key lies in the effective disarmament of the soft tissue damage caused by aseptic inflammation.

I suffer from the above. Last MRI 2 years ago claimed slight stenosis after an acute episode of pain and numbness through legs and groin area. These neuro syptoms have subsided but suffer from genaralised lower back pain.Do you have any ideas or thoughts on the above. Any comments would be appreciated
