Ever since receiving my first ever acupuncture session last month, I have been repeatedly asked whether or not it was effective.

Do you exactly know how acupuncture session make for treatment?

But there is no scientific evidence to support the notion of Ch'i, so does acupuncture really work?

Please read TCM theory carefully,in order to know what "Chi" means.

Perhaps Reston's recovery was due to natural healing processes that would have happened regardless of the acupuncture.

Or maybe he was also receiving conventional painkillers.

Or perhaps the recovery was due to the placebo effect, which is the psychological impact of believing that a treatment will help.

Acupuncture have thousands history, without " Reston's case", Noone can deny:Acupuncture looked after Chinese people for long time.

There have now been dozens of clinical trials comparing real acupuncture against sham acupuncture and the results are not very encouraging.

In China,Chinese acupuncturist not only put needles in TCM acupoint, but also in untraditional point for treatment depending on condition.Chinese acupuncture reserch have many different acupuncture techniques (including Zak acupuncture) We can't say this is sham acupuncture.if so,that because someone don't really know developing of acupuncture in China.

In recent years, acupuncturists have argued that acupuncture is particularly effective for pain condition, but this trial suggested that acupuncture is nothing more than a placebo. And, even if acupuncture is just a placebo treatment, then maybe some people will feel that this alone justifies its use, because placebos can offer benefits.

Well,Do people think that millions patients geting better in the world, just becuse of placeble? there are have a lot of placeble treatent,Why does acupuncture got so many credits ?

So, next time I'm feeling ill, my first port of call will still be my GP.

That's fine,But acupuncture clinic still very busy in the world.
