For many years, back pain in children was considered to be rare and was cause for alarm. However, during the past 15 to 20 years, the prevalence of back pain in children and adolescents has dramatically increased so that it is now approaching that of adults.
In some children and teenagers, pain in the back does have an identifiable cause. These patients typically can localize their pain to a specific area such as the low back. It may be worsened by activity and relieved by rest. Females are more likely than males to have back pain; currently the greatest incidence is in older teenage girls.
I currently have a 8 years old patient who suffer from lower back pain and wetting bed. After 9 times treatments, patient's back geting better and wetting bed disappeared.
