PMDD is a severe form of a common problem called premenstrual syndrome, or PMS. About 75 percent of women of childbearing age have some PMS problems. Problems paying attention and concentrating ,Fatigue ,Physical problems such as breast tenderness, headaches, joint or muscle pain and swelling or bloating ,Trouble sleeping.

Japanese Meiji University of Integrative Medicine suggested that acupuncture may be a treatment option for PMDD.

Acupuncture and herbal medicine is used to harmonize and free up patterns of stagnation in the body in order to alleviate the many symptoms of pre-menstrual syndrome.
