The Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine (UK) (ATCM) is a main regulatory body for the practice of acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, tuina – Chinese therapeutic massage in the UK. Currently, there are over 700 professionally qualified TCM practitioners registered with ATCM.
ATCM stands in a unique position in the United Kingdom’s healthcare system, actively engaged in academics, research, and the practical application of traditional Chinese medicine, including acupuncture, Chinese medicine and Tuina. ATCM plays a crucial role in communication between traditional Chinese and western medicine, attracting a growing number of Chinese medicine practitioners while at the same time establishing a strong presence in the medical and patient communities.
