Just found a ad about acupuncturist job in US
Required Education and Skills: Requires an MD or DO degree from and accredited institution as well as the following:
Current professional license in North Carolina or ability to acquire same. Completion of residency and fellowship in ambulatory care, family practice or internal medicine. AMBA board certification in Medical Acupuncture or equivalent clinical experience. Clinical experience includes use of channel, auricular and other micro-system acupuncture for the treatment of mental health conditions (anxiety, insomnia, agitation, hyper-vigilance, impulsivity, addiction). Ability to mentor residents/physicians to develop clinical confidence in acupuncture skills. Knowledge of clinical trials.
